Description:

Silk bookmark with a yellow tassle commemorating the Festival of Britain, 1951. It is woven in red, white, blue, gold, mauve and black silks on a white background. At the top, it has "FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN" on scrollwork. In the centre, it shows festival sign and phoenix rising from the flames with the three spires in the background. Below, it says "WOVEN BY J. & J. CASH LTD. COVENTRY".
