Description:

This watercolour was painted by Cara Bray nee Hennell, who lived at Rosehill and was friends with Mary Ann Evans (George Eliot). Verso shows a sketch of a hand.
Rosehill was on the Radford Road. Cara married Charles Bray in 1836 and they purchased Rosehill in April 1840, moving in in July.
