Whereby (in consideration of an estate worth £500 to which Mary Collins (wife of Samuel Collins of Coventry, alderman) is entitled through the death of her brother Joseph Symcox, esquire) Samuel Collins entrusts Joseph Olds (of Coventry, mercer) and Thomas Lander (of Allesley, Warwickshire, gentleman) with "Brookfeild House", "Home Close" alias "Brookefeild Close", "Brookfeild Meadow" (occupied by Zecharah Linney) and the three "Brookfeild Closes" adjoining Home Close (farmed by Thomas Scharrold), all at Bedworth, Warwickshire and bought from T. Scharrold, to the successive uses of S. Collins for life, M. Collins, J. Olds and T. Lander as M. Collins may direct, and her right heirs, allowing S. Collins to lease the premises for a maximum of 21 year terms.
Endorsed memorandum by S. Collins that the property is not intended to be in lieu of lands settled on his wife at their marriage.
