Whereby, having recited: firstly and secondly, CCA/2/3/399/9,11; thirdly and fourthly, CCA/2/3/399/10 (will and probate); fifthly, that Ann Tame married William Hollick [sic] (of Allesley, Warwickshire, blacksmith) on 7 Jun [1824] at Saint Michael's, Coventry; sixthly, that the principals are still due; and seventhly, that Thomas Barton (of Coventry, cordwainer) and Samuel Vale (of Coventry, plumber and glazier) have, as Thomas Tame [I]'s executors, contracted to sell the property to Isaac Clarke (of Nether Whitacre, Warwickshire, farmer) for £480: therefore (for payment by Isaac Clarke of £300 to John Phillips (late of Radford, now of Stoke, Coventry, gentleman) and William Newark (of Coventry, timbermerchant) as executors of the late William Wall (of Coventry, victualler and maltster); of £180 to Thomas Barton and Samuel Vale; and of 5/- apiece to Richard Marriott (of Coventry, gentleman; vestee of these deeds' estate on behalf of the late Thomas Tame [I] of Coventry, potman and shopkeeper) and Thomas Tame [I]'s eldest son and heir Thomas Tame [II] (of Saint Ann's Street, Westminster[, Middlesex], yeoman)) Richard Marriott, John Phillips, William Newark, Thomas Barton, Samuel Vale and Thomas Tame [II] convey to I. Clarke CCA/2/3/399/9's land with six messuages built thereon (occupied by the widow Mary Smith, John Arnold, William Hall, George Barton, Charles Lee and William Hutt).
