beside the Greyfriars Gate for five poor men and women, each receiving 5d a week arising from premises which his executors would purchase, so William Pisford senior (co-executor of William Ford with his (Pisford's) daughter Agnes) has built the almshouses, installed the people and brought the premises for rents to service the charity; secondly, that William Pisford senior willed inter alia that six poor, reputable Coventry householders and their wives, aged 60 or more, should, at the Master of Holy Trinity Guild's nomination, be accommodated with sevenpence halfpenny in money every week, a sum which should be maintained if the wife predecease the husband (who would thereafter be able to stay in the almshouse unless warned three of four times for misbehaviour); thirdly, that William Pisford senior also willed that, if the husband predecease the wife, she would get only threepence and three farthings per week (and could be ejectable on the same terms as a widower) though two widows could share one house and hav sevenpence halfpenny between them; fourthly, that W Pisford senior willed that his executors should purchase premises worth 20m. per annum for a chantry priest to pray for his soul, for those of his wives (Agnes, Joan and Eleanor), his parents, W Ford, his wives Joan and Agnes, Holy Trinity Guild members and all Christian souls, receiving £6 per annum stipend quarterly (paid out of the 20m.), the GuildMaster choosing the priest, who would have a chamber in the almshouses whose garden and chapel he could use respectively once or twice weekly and as often as he liked, who should be a good churchman saying mattins, high mass and evensong three or four days a week in St Michael's choir plus holy days and double feasts; fifthly, that W Pisford senior willed that the priest should say mass once or twice weekly in the almshouse chapel for the feeble inmates; sixthly, that W Pisford senior willed a yearly obit in St Michael's for himself, his wives and parents on his death day (24th Apr) when 20/- would be spent (to ten priests - 3/4; to two clericsw - 4d; to the choristers - 2d; for wax - 6d.; for setting forth of the hearse in the church - 2d.; for laying upon the pall - 4d.; for ringing bells - 8d.; for the bellman to warn of the obit - 4d.; for bread and ale - 20d.; for spices - 20d.; for wine - 20d.; to the mayor - 20d.; to the city steward and his deputy for reading the testator's will - 6d.; to the swordbearer - 4d.; in alms - 6/8) and the mayor and his brethren and the Mercers' and Grocers' companies would attend; seventhly, that W Pisford senior willed that the Holy Trinity Guild Master should make the above payments (keeping any surplus) and choose the priest and almsfolk, but that in default the mayor and aldermen should select both categories; and eighthly, that Henry Pisford (of Coventry, Calais staple merchant and co-executor of his brother William Pisford junior (of Coventry, Calais staple merchant) with William Wigston junior (of Leicester, Calais staple merchant; a co-executor of Henry Pisford)) willed that his executors should perform what Ford's and W Pisford senior's wills stipulated: therefore, firstly, W Pisford senior's feoffees (John Bonde, Julines Nethermyll and Thomas Dodd)) and William Wigston senior's feoffees (William Wigston junior and Richard Walker) shall for 60 years let the Holy Trinity Guild Master (Henry Wall), his rentgatherers or appointees take the profits of scheduled premises for the aforesaid uses but also 10/- to the Greyfriars, devoting any surplus to the premises' maintenance; secondly, the feoffees may only lease with the master's assent and devote rents to the charity (excepting re-enfeoffment (when only three of them shall survive, if necessary at the master's, steward's or rentgatherer's request) to appoint twelve (four from the Grocers', Mercers' and Haberdashers' company (ies), two being priests, and the rest appointed by the corporation and master)); thirdly, at 20/- per annum salary, R Walker is made rentgatherer; fourthly, any deeds will stay with William Wigston junior and Agnes his wife (co-executor with W Pisford senior (her father) of Ford, who was her first husband) for life, then passing to the guild; fifthly, any ordinances which W Wigston junior may make shall be kept for ever; and sixthly, during the 60 years the master will pay Greyfriars' warden 10/- for an obit for W Pisford senior, W Pisford junior and H Pisford within fifteen days of All Saints'.

(i) messuage with garden (occupied by Roger Wigston, recorder of Coventry; rent, £4 per annum) with adjoining tenement (occupied by Humphrey Walker, draper; rent, 26/8 per annum); tenement on southern side of Earl Street, Coventry between the former 'Crown' inn (Priory property) on the west, and Little Park Street on the east;
(ii) Earl Street (north side) tenement on the western corner of Hay Lane against Roger Wigston's messuage, next to a Copston's Chantry tenement (west) and a tenement (north) lately William Dawson's and occupied by Thomas Johnson, tailor - rent, 18/- per annum;
(iii) Broadgate (east), Coventry tenement (occupied by Edmund Turner, corvisor between a Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire. Chantry's tenement (north) and a St John Baptist's Hospital tenement (south) - rent 30/- per annum;
(iv) three cottages and gardens, Greyfriars Lane, Coventry between the Bedehouse (south) and the land (north) of William Allen of Sutton Coldfield - rent 21/4d per annum
(v) stable and garden, Greyfriars' Lane between Trinity Guild land (either side), abutting upon Bedehouse garden - rent, 2/8 per annum
(vi) messuage in Alspath, Warwickshire called 'Brylles' with 'the horse parock', 'Margeries Grove', 'Marqerie Fielde', two 'Cockeshot Fieldes', two 'Brome Croftes' and 15a. arable in 'Olde Worthying' field and 2a. meadow - occupied by Thomas Grey
(vii) toft and croft in Meriden, Warwickshire with 3r. meadow in 'MyInemeadow', 16 swathes of meadow in 'Blythe Meadow', grounds called 'the Nichells' alias the 'Conyngrie' - all occupied by Thomas Grey at a rent of 46/8 per annum
(viii) messuage and croft, Gaddesby, Leicestershire (occupied by William Blake) between 'pisses lande' (east) and Silver Street (west), Everard Derbie's land (north) and 'Woodforde' land (south); a croft (occupied by William Blake) abutting upon E Derbie's land (north), Thomas Blake's (south), Henry Gulson's field (east) and the town gate (west); cottage and croft (occupied by W Blake) between H Gulson's land (north), E Derbie's (south), with 136a. arable and meadow in Gaddesby fields - rent, 41/4 per annum

(b) William Wigston senior's lands:-
(i) tenement and cottage with gardens, Hill Street, Coventry (western side) between Trinity Guild lands on either side (occupied by Elizabeth Alen, widow) - rent, 16/-
(ii) tenement and garden, Hill Street (west) occupied by Richard Crosse - rent, 8/- per annum
(iii) five cottages and gardens next to (ii) ((ii) and (iii) having Trinity Guild land on either side) - rent, 4/- per annum each
(iv) five cottages and gardens, Hill Street (west) between Trinity Guild croft (south) and William Marler's tenement (north) - rent, 3/- per annum each
(v) close (occupied by Martin Redell), Hill Street (east) between Trinity Guild land (north) and that of Ralph Norwood, gent (south) - rent, 8/- per annum
(vi) Three lands lying in a field north of St Nicholas' church (Trinity build land on either side) - rent, 3/4 per annum
(vii) messuage and 'Northcroft', Keresley, Coventry county (with the highway to Astley, Warwickshire on the north and Samons Grene' on the south);
(viii) 'Tomefeilde', Keresley (Trinity Guild land on either side);
(ix) 2a. arable upon 'Lightons' bearing upon 'Ridyings pene' and Newland Park;
(x) Two fields in Corley Waste ('Walles Lane' to the south, 'Wolfes Grownde' to the south)(all Keresley property occupied by John Proctor at a rent of 46/- per annum
(xi) meadow in Foleshill, Coventry called 'Skirvyns More' (occupied by John Castell; adjoining lane from Foleshill green to Longford (west) and a brook (east)) - rent, 8/- per annum
(xii) messuage and croft, Bubbenhall, Warwickshire (between land late of Edward Belknap, kt. (east) and the commonfield (north)[sic] with 34a. arable and 4a. meadow in Bubbenhall fields (occupied by Nicholas Baddesley) - rent, 28/- per annum
(xiii) messuage and croft, Bubbenhall between farm ground (north) and the highway (south) with 30a. arable and 4a. meadow (occupied by William Paten [Patey?] - rent, 12/- per annum
(xiv) messuage and croft, Bubbenhall between pasture ground (north) and [common?] moor (south) with 18a. arable and half an acre meadow (occupied by William Anstey [Austen?]) - rent, 13/4 per annum
(xv) five cottages and gardens adjoining (xiv) (with parsonage on the other side) - rent, 22/- per annum
(xvi) chief rent of 4/- per annum from messuage and lands, Bubbenhall occupied by Elizabeth James, widow
(xvii) chief rent of 4/- per annum from messuage and lands, Bubbenhall occupied by John Shotteswell
(xviii) messuage and close, Weston [-under-Wetherley], Warwickshire at the town's end and adjoining Edward Belknap, Kt.'s land with a 'certain' meadow and 60a. arable occupied by John Herbert) - rent, 26/8 per annum
