Whereby he entrusts his friends Edward Clarke (of Willenhall, Warwickshire, yeoman) and Hugh Jones (of Coventry, grocer) with a cottsge and Spencers Croft (in Berkswell parish, Warwicishire, occupied by Thomas Eaves), his own Coventry dwelling and two messuages near Greyfriars' Gate (let to Thomas Watson and - Jeycock) so that from the proceeds of their sale they might pay £10 ro the testator's daughter Mary Wiggin (wife of Joseph Wiggin of Coventry, leatherdresser) and £110 to his daughter Rebecca Bayley [II] at her majority, placing the remainder at interest (which, with the unsold realty's profits, would go to the testator's wife Elizabeth [I] for maintenance of their children John [II], William [III], Thomas [IV] and Eizabeth [II] so as to allow each of them £110 at 21 with right of survivorship; interest upon what might remain after these £110 legacies had been deducted would go to Elizabeth [I] for life nd then be divided equally between the six children); if Eliazebth [I] remarries, she will receive £400 within three months but the rest of the testator's estate will be shared equally amongst the children; the trustees may let Elizabeth [I] continue to enjoy any household goods.
