Whereby he leaves his provisions to his wife Catherine; she also receives the household furniture for life, with remainder to their children Emma Rainbow, Maria Ballard, Eliza Barnes and Harriet Parbury; the residuary estate is entrusted to John Watson Parbury (of Coventry, printer) and George Short (of Coventry, builder) for sale and investment of the proeeds in government stocks so that the testator's wife might enjoy the rents and from them maintain her daughter Maria; upon Catherine's death, Maria will reeive 10/- per week from the rents for life, whilst the married daughters will have equal shares in the estate with right of survivorship passing to their respective children; the trustees may sell the property at any time.
13 Feb 1867. Codicil bequeathing the household furniture (and a garden in Coventry Park) to the testator's wife absolutely, who is appointed executrix in place of G. Short.
