Whereby, having recited: firstly, that John Styward, Richard Dodenhale, John Marton (dyer), Richard Clerk, William Packestaff, Simon de Langham, John Cros, Geoffrey de Peek, Nicholas Feryby, David Corby, Richard Teynton, Thomas de Sutton, John Lyberd, John Hagh', John Scarthebourgh', John de Barwe, John Northfolk, John Egerton', Roger Wedon', Richard Marshull, Richard Lychefeld, John Wythybroke (now dead), Thomas Burdet, John Moldrych, William Fyvehide, William Cockes, John Stowe, John Tite, John Northwode, William Palmer and John Knyght (now deceased) of Coventry, merchants, and Richard Brocok were, along with John Percy, William Woolf, Roland Damet, Richard Verdon', Henry Kele, Adam Keresleye, John Wedon' and William Ocham of Coventry, seised of diverse properties in Coventry to the use of Holy Trinity, Blessed Virgin Mary and St. John Baptist's Guild; secondly, that thereafter, with the fraternity's consent, John Styward et al on 1 Mar 1392 granted John Percy et al the produce of all properties in perpetuity; and thirdly, that BA/B/P/337/1(a),(e)-(n) were granted on 5 Aug 1392 to maintain nine chaplains in Bablake chapel to pray for the fraternity's souls, as also was done by letters-patent dated 30 Jun 1392: therefore John Percy et al grant to John Onley (master of Holy Trinity Guild) and to the aforesaid Richard Dodenhale with his wife Alice, Richard Clerk with his wife Agnes, and the guild, all those properties, viz.
