Whereby, having recited that Thomas Sheepshanks (clerk [in Holy Orders]) and Thomas Banbury [shag-manufacturer], Josiah Cash [stuffmerchant], Richard Hands [silkdyer], James Sibley Whittem [currier], Thomas Smith [grocer], William Clarke [ribbon-manufacturer], Richard Caldicott [ribbon-manufacturer], Harry Chetham [liquormerchant], William Odell [ribbon-manufacturer], Bryan Dunn [tanner], Samuel Vale [solicitor], Abijah Hill Pears [ribbon-manufacturer], David Spencer [draper], Samuel Newsome [ribbon-manufacturer], William Sargeant [ribbon-manufacturer], Thomas Jones Newark [timbermerchant], Charles Dresser[silkmerchant], Stephen Hammerton junior [ribbon-manufacturer] and John Rotherham [watch-manufacturer] (all of Coventry, esqs.) are Sir Thomas White's Charity trustees and have ordered that Jonathan Needham (of Coventry, watchmaker [sic]) and Samuel Turner (of Coventry, weaver) should each receive a £50 loan, therefore, in consideration thereof and of 10/- paid to Joseph [I] Needham (of Coventry, watch-manufacturer), he (as empowered by PA491/83/30's 23 Mar 1850 deed) charges to Thomas Sheepshanks et al premises as PA491/83/30(d) except that only the former occupants William Gilbert and William Fletcher et al shown, for repayment by Joseph [I] Needham and Jonathan Needham of one £50 on 31 Dec 1868 or within one calendar month thereof or of the son's prior leaving the city or death, and similarly by Needham pere and Samuel Turner of the other £50; T. Sheepshanks et al may sell if the mortgagors default; J. [I] Needham covenants to insure with Norwich Union Fire Insurance Office for at least £100.

3 Sep 1875. Endorsed reconveyance whereby, having recited: firstly, PA491/83/25; secondly, Joseph [I] Needham's death and probate; thirdly, that William Dickison (of Coventry, watch-manufacturer) has bought Maria Lucy Needham's share as per PA491/84/15; fourthly, that on 8 Nov 1864 William Dickison and his wife Mary Ann conveyed the wife's own share and the purchased one to Maria Hughes (of Coventry, spinster) as mortgagee for £650; fifthly, PA491/83/30; sixthly, PA491/83/32; and seventhly, that W. Dickison and Hannah Lockton have discharged the two £50 loans: therefore in consideration of that discharge James Sibley Whittem, Thomas Smith, William Odell, Samuel Vale, Abijah Hill Pears, David Spencer and Stephen Hammerton [no longer junior], qua surviving Sir Thomas White's Charity trustees, return to Maria Hughes the two quarters which were sometime Mary Ann Dickison's with the agreement of the Dickisons and of William Mabbott (of Sneinton, Nottingham, tailor) and Thomas William Dent (of Nottingham, newspaper reporter); James Sibley Whittem et al also convey to William Mabbott and Thomas William Dent the other two quarters which Hannah Scrimshaw had acquired under PA491/83/32's terms.
