Whereby (in consideration of payment by George Eld [I] (of Coventry, baker) of £80 to Thomas Teasdale (of Coventry, druggist) and 10/- to that man and his trustee John Laing (of Coventry, gentleman [attorney])) Thomas Teasdale and John Laing enfeoff George Eld [I] with that part of a building of T. Teasdale's which has been used as a laboratory and will be divided from the rest of the building by a brick wall which will be 14 inches thick, 9 inches of which shall be considered G. Eld[I]'s property but the other 5 inches as Teasdale's, up to the top of the building's roof, whilst an adjacent dunghill shall be deemed G. Eld's - all lies on the western side of Cross Cheaping and was bought by Teasdale from the widow Sarah Elliott; for another 10/-, Teasdale, J. Laing, Thomas Goodall [I] (of Coventry, grocer) and his trustee John Gulson (of Coventry, leather dresser) consign to Eld Teasdale's and Laing's roadway from the messuage which Teasdale and Laing occupy at Cross Cheaping through Eld's yard, Teasdale having bought it from Sarah Elliott but is now exchanging it for the 3-foot 6-inch one mentioned in PA811/1/15.
