I 2 Mar 1891. Will of Richard William Latham (of Coventry, gentleman) which appointed his son Alfred, Arthur Seymour (solicitor) and George John Evans (solicitor's clerk), both of Coventry, his executors and trustees to receive rents from freehold and leasehold property for twelve calendar months from his death in order to pay moneys as detailed in the will, whereafter Cope Street and Byfield Terrace, Coventry and Nuneaton freeholds and Queen Victoria Road and Croft Road, Coventry leaseholds would pass to his son Richard for life, then to Richard's children until the youngest was of age, whereupon the property should be sold and the proceeds distributed equally between those grandchildren.

VII 6 Jan 1896. Richard Latham died at Coventry, leaving Richard Oliver Latham as his only child.
VIII 15 Mar 1901. Alfred Latham died at Coventry.
IX 14 Nov 1901. Appointment of New Trustee whereby, having recited: firstly to thirdly, I-III; fourthly, IV,V; fifthly, that Richard William Latham's children Richard, William, and Rachel Matthews had all died; sixthly, that Alfred Latham, Arthur Seymour and George John Evans had discharged the testator's debts; seventhly, that A. Latham had died and been buried at Foleshill church; eighthly, that Richard W. Latham's realty remained largely unsold and not converted into cash; and ninthly, that A. Seymour and George J. Evans wanted to appoint William Thomas Chandler (of Coventry, solicitor's clerk) a trustee in place of A. Latham: therefore they appointed him to act with them regarding freeholds, leaseholds and personalty.
X 18 Sep 1916. Conveyance and Assignment whereby, having recited: firstly, I-III; secondly, IV,V; thirdly, Richard Latham's death, leaving as sole beneficairy Richard Oliver Lindsay Latham (in 1916 of 30, Ardgowan Street, Greenock[, Renfrewshire], North Britain [also known as Scotland], gentleman), who attained his majority on 6 Sep 1916; fourthly ajnd fifthly, VIII,IX; sixthly, that Richard William Latham's debts had been paid; seventhly, that Richard Oliver Lindsay Latham had received the rents; and eighthly, that the property had not been sold, but that Richard Oliver L. Latham had agreed to take the freeholds and leaseholds:therefore Arthur Seymour, George John Evans and William Thomas Chandler conveyed to Richard O.L. Latham first-scheduled freeholds absolutely and second-scheduled leaseholds for their terms' residue; R.O.L. Latham undertook to pay rents and observe the leases' terms; A. Seymour et al covenanted to produce IX and the 17 Oct 1885 conveyance of land by Honourable Cecil Saumarez Irby to Richard William Layham [cf. PA279/44/2918].
First Schedule: 38-48 (odd numbers), Cope Street (formerly occupied by Gandy, Davies, Russell, Shooter, Ensor and Franklin; then by Taylor, Whitehead, Jackson, Sharpe, Sutton and Cross) with joint use of a four-foot wide passage to Dale Street, contributing proportionately towards upkeep; and 165-185 (odd numbers), Stoney Stanton Road, inhabited by Rose, Foster, Millward, Wankling, Smith, Walker, Windsor, Wright, Lowe, Gibbs and Bell.
