By Roger Harvey (described as of Coventry, whittawer) to his son John (described as in BA/A/B/20/7), for an unspecified sum, of (a) a messuage and garden on the northern side of the road outside Gosford Gate, lying between the River Sherbourne on the east and corporation land elsewhere, occupied by Roger Harvey; and (b) a nearby croft on the southern side of the street, between the Sherbourne on the west and Shut Lane on the east, extending to land held by the tailor John Fenton on the south - (a) was bought from the draper Francis Tallans and (b) from the capper John Roe: to be held for Roger Harvey's use for life, then by his wife Emma during widowhood, then by their son, with livery of seisin; covenants for further assurance within one year and to produce deeds.
