Whereby, having recited: firstly, that John [II] Allen (of Berkswell, Warwickshire, gentleman) by his will (30 Aug 1737) left Nailcote Hall, etc. (as in PA1049/18/4) to John [II] Adkins and Thomas Docker (of Berkswell, gentleman) for 500 years, then to his sister Katherine [I] Lant with remainder to her son Thomas [I], in order to raise £200 and pay that sum to her daughter Sarah Lant at 21and other sums to the children of Katherine [I] by John [I] Lant of Allesley; secondly, that, however, Sarah died under age; thirdly, that Katherine [I] Lant has died so her son Thomas [I] possesses the estate; but fourthly, that the premises are not charged with money under John [II] Allen's will and that John [I] Lant (of Whoberley, Stoneleigh parish, Warwickshire gentleman) wants the estate subsumed for Thomas [I]'s benefit: therefore John [I] Lant appoints the premises to his son Thomas [I].
