Whereby, having recited: firstly to fifteenthly, as PA849/27/10's second to sixteenth recitals; sixteenthly, PA849/27/10; seventeenthly, PA849/11/2, eighteenthly, that on 4 Jul 1850 a petition for bankruptcy was issued against Thomas [II] Dalton, hence Samuel Newsome (of Coventry, gentleman), Josiah Lewis (of Derby, silkman) and George Williamson (of Manchester, Lancashire, warehouseman), and Frederick Whitmore (of Birmingham, Warwickshire) participate in this deed as his assignees; nineteenthly, John Herbert's having died and his burial as in PA849/27/13; twentiethly, that (on behalf of John Ralphs (late of Coventry, now of Pinley, Coventry, esq.), of Thomas Banbury, Josiah Cash and Abraham Burbery Herbert (of Coventry, esqs.; directors of the Coventry & Warwickshire Banking Co.) and of Thomas Lissaman (of Coventry, gentleman; submanager and cashier of the C. & W.B.C.)) Samuel Newsome et al and Frederick Whitmore have agreed to sell Richard Kevitt [I] Rotherham senior (of Coventry, esq.) this deed's premises for £500; twenty-firstly, that the principal and interest are still owed to the bank; and twenty-secondly, that William and Lucy Ratliff, and John [III], Hannah and Joseph [II] Howe have confirmed PA849/27/10, as will Mary Elizabeth Howe (of Coventry, spinster; baptised on 29 May 1831), Charlotte Ryley Howe (of Coventry, spinster; baptised on 9 Feb 1836) and Margaret Howe (of Coventry, spinster; baptised on 18 Oct 1837), as the children of John [I] Howe who are still minors, when they become of age: therefore (for £500 paid by Richard Kevitt [I] Rotherham senior to Thomas Banbury et al and of 5/- by Richard Kevitt [I] Rotherham to each of John Ralphs, T. Banbury, Josiah Cash, Abraham Burbery Herbert, S. Newsome, Josiah Lewis, George Williamson, F. Whitmore, Mary Elizabeth Howe, Charlotte Ryley Howe and Margaret Howe) Newsome et al and Whitmore appoint the property to uses as below; hence J. Ralphs, Banbury et al, Thomas Lissaman, Newsome et al, Whitmore and Mary E. Howe et al convey to Richard K. [I] Rotherham the four messuages (occupied as in PA849/27/10) and 354 square yards (lately held by T. [II] Dalton) with William Rotherham (of Coventry, printer and bookseller) as his trustee.
