A As to two closes of land which form part of the property
I 4 Dec 1819. Will of Thomas Ball (of the Bush Street [sic], Nuneaton, Warwickshire, gentleman) which left his property at "Carsley", Coventry successively to James Troughton senior (of Coventry, esq.) for life, that man's wife Sarah [I] (the testator's niece) and their son Thomas Ball Troughton, charged with £500 each to Sarah [I]'s daughters Jane Ann and Sarah [II within twelve months of the death of the longer living parent; Sarah [I] and her sons James Troughton junior and Thomas Ball Troughton were named executors.
II 15 Jul 1820. Probate.
III 8 Dec 1819. Thomas Ball died. [sic]
IV 15 Dec 1837. James Troughton senior died.
V 19 Feb 1840. Sarah [I] Troughton died.
VI 24 Jun 1848. Sarah [II] Troughton died.
VII 31 Jan 1849. Jane Ann Troughton died.
VIII 30 Jun 1849. Copy Receipts for Legacy Duty on the £500s.
B As to a small allotment or part of the property
IX 3 Jul 1848. Award by William Phillips, commissioner for the enclosure of the hamlets of Coundon in Warwickshire and Keresley in Warwickshire and Coventry which allocated Thomas Ball Troughton 1r. 31p. near Golden Green.
C As to both the before-abstracted premises

XI 26 Mar 1877. Conveyance whereby, having recited that Thomas Henry Green offered the hereditaments for auction at the "King's Head", Coventry on 21 Jul previous, whereupon Ann Charlotte Troughton (of Coventry and Garthnmyl Hall, Montgomeryshire [,Wales], widow) bid £1,650 and paid him £160 deposit, therefore for the £1,485 balance he conveyed to her PA2473/5/2/1's land.
XII 9 Apr 1883. Conveyance for £1,675 by Ann Charlotte Troughton (of Northaw Place, Barnet, Hertfordshire, widow) to Thomas Clarke (of Coventry, auctioneer) of PA2473/5/2/1's land, which he occupied.
D As to the remainder of the property

XVIII 7 Jan 1881. Conveyance for £1,900 by Thomas Henry Green to Thomas Clarke of (a) "Queenswood Cottage" (inhabited by Alexander Rotherham) and (b) Shoulder of Mutton Close, Sodens Field and Little Sodens Field which all lay next to (a), altogether 8a. 3r. 24p., which was an updated description of PA2473/5/2/3's premises, subject to scheduled rights of way.

E As to the whole of the property
XIX 26 Nov 1880. Will of Thomas Clarke which appointed his friends William Burton (of Coundon, Warwickshire, miller), Junius Eaves Minett (of Arley parish, Warwickshire, miller and farmer), Herbert Samuel Read (of Coventry, watch-manufacturer) and the testator's nephew Charles "Emanuel" Evans (of Queen Victoria Street, London, architect) executors, whereby, having bequeathed certain legacies and a freehold estate at Fillongley, Warwickshire called "Hungerlands", the testator entrusted the rest of his estate to the executors for sale.
XX 20 Mar 1885. Thomas Clarke died.
XXI 29 May 1885. Thomas Clarke's will was proved.
