In 1410-11 Clerke held Cobelyng Croft, Radford - see PA263/1. BA/B/P/14/5 shows him as a Trinity Guild feoffee during the 1390s with land in Earl St. and Much Park St., and at "le Mulnestones" and elsewhere in the Southern Field. BA/B/P/278/2; BA/B/P/444/1: BA/H/H/19/2 relate to his Little Park St. premises. Clerke had a Broadgate messuage (BA/B/Q/2/3,4). He was dead by 1406 - see BA/B/P/273/12. A tenant of Cheylesmore manor in 1370, Clerke was a leet juror and mayor in 1386 and 1397, being a justice of the peace by when he was mayor for the second time. He was a bailiff in 1377. He and others held Broadgate, Little Park Street and Gosford Street messuages, 1385-92 (PA468/5/3/2/3,5) a Dead Lane messuage (1383-84: PA468/5/3/10/7,8) and an Earl Street one (1394 - PA468/5/3/14/2).
