Supplementary to 29 Sep 1903 mortgage by Joseph George Reaves (of 47, Perkins Street [,Hillfields], Coventry) to Edward Lynes (in 1908 described as of Coventry, medical doctor) and John Platts Hughes (in 1908 of Folkestone, Kent; formerly of Coventry, estate-agent) of Keresley and Widdrington Road [,Radford], Coventry property for £450 at £4% per annum interest, whereby, having recited: firstly, that the principal alone is due; and secondly, that Thomas Burbidge (of Coventry, newspaper-proprietor) has agreed to pay Edward Lynes and John Platts Hughes £450: therefore in consideration thereof they assign the premises to him.
2 Oct 1934. Transfer of Mortgage (endorsed), supplementary to the 1903 mortgage, whereby, having recited: firstly, that Thomas Burbidge's will was proved on 3 Nov 1933 by his executors Thomas Sydney Burbidge and Frederick Bliss Burbidge (in 1934 described as of Greyfriars' Lane, Coventry, newspaper-proprietors) and Charles Berry Odell (in 1934 of Hertford Street, Coventry, auctioneer); and secondly, that Alice Marian Odell (Charles Berry Odell's wife) is entitled to have the mortgage assigned to her: therefore that is done.
24 Jan 1939. Endorsed memorandum of conveyance by Lewis George Pugh to Ethel Jane Whitehead of frontage of 39 feet 2 inches to Widdrington Road and return one of 96 feet 2 inches to Sandy Lane, the plot being 21 feet wide at the back and 73 feet 9 inches deep on the eastern side, so covering 245 square yards, together with 1, Widdrington Road thereon.
Endorsed in pencil: "Gazey's title to Queenswood Lot 3".
