As per 24 Jan [1727] vestry order, by Jonah Crynes (alderman), Matthew Goodale (alderman), Thomas Warden (butcher), Thomas Charley (tallow chandler), Henry Jephcott (capper), Thomas Wright (gentleman), William Benyon (butcher) and Thomas Grascomb (butcher), all of Coventry, surviving Holy Trinity feoffees, to William Spicer (of Coventry, writing master) of (a) CCA/2/3/233/1(a)'s Gosford Street messuages, now inhabited by the widow Anne Bewley, Alderman Jonah Crynes and the apothecary Edward Barber; (b) CCA/2/3/233/1(b)'s Little Park Street ground, let to Sir Orlando Bridgeman; (c) CCA/2/3/233/1(c)'s Cow Lane tenement, occupied by William Bird, gentleman [silkman]; (d) CCA/2/3/233/1(d)'s Earl Street tenement, lately let to John Tabram [under PA94/15] but now to the cooper John Smith; (e) CCA/2/3/233/1(e)'s Greyfriars' Lane property, lately occupied by Richard Adderley senior but now by Richard Adderley junior; (f) CCA/2/3/233/1(f)'s Greyfriars' Lane property, lately occupied by John Norton, now by Elizabeth Norton [cf. CCA/2/3/19/2] ; (g) CCA/2/3/233/1(g)'s Spon Street ground, now let to the mercer Julius Olds; (h) CCA/2/3/233/1(h)'s Spon Street fee-farm rent, the messuage now inhabited by Widow Fauston; (i) CCA/2/3/233/1(i)'s Spon End tenement and Urchinfield ley, formerly leased to the late William Langton senior but now to William Langton junior, shoemaker; (j) CCA/2/3/233/1(j)'s Smithford Street tenement, now inhabited by the tiler James Tatam; (k) CCA/2/3/233/1(k)'s Well Street tenement, formerly occupied by the late John Neale but now by the ironmonger Thomas Neale; (l) CCA/2/3/233/1(l)'s barn site with backside at Cook Street, tenanted by the aforesaid Ann Bewley in succession to the late plumber Thomas Bewley; (m) CCA/2/3/233/1(m)'s Cook Street tenement with backside, occupied by the tammyweaver [tammy was a fine worstead cloth of good quality, often with a glazed finish] Samuel Briggs; (n) the "Crane" inn, etc. rentcharge [albeit a copy, CCA/2/3/233/1 of 1703 has the "Crane" as still Holy Trinity property, but CCA/2/3/203/1 is a 1700 mortgage of it by a private person who was already paying the rentcharge to Trinity feoffees], the messuage being inhabited by William Hopkins' widow; (o) the rentcharge from a Bishop Street tenement formerly inhabited by the late Robert Smith but now by Katherine Smith; (p) the rentcharge from CCA/2/3/233/1(p)'s Cross Cheaping messuage and Dog Lane close, both occupied by John Edwards, gentleman; (q) a Cross Cheaping messuage lately occupied by Widow Sawyer but now by the mercer George Secker; (r) a Cross Cheaping house now let to Joseph Ireland; (s) one messuage on the western side of the Cross Cheaping street which leads to Broadgate, along with Lockers Moore (as in CCA/2/3/233/1(r)), both leased by the apothecary Simon Lucas; (t) a new Cross Cheaping dwelling with two closes and a meadow at Horwell, now or late let to Benjamin Brockhurst senior [goldsmith] and his [watchmaker-]son Thomas Brockhurst; (u) CCA/2/3/233/1(t)'s Cross Cheaping shop with cisterns, lately let to the aforesaid Benjamin Brockhurst but now to the said Thomas Brockhurst; (v) a Cross Cheaping tenement now let to Thomas Bott, gentleman [apothecary]; (w) CCA/2/3/233/1(v)'s Derby Lane tenement or stable, formerly occupied by [the apothecary] Thomas King, gentleman but now by Penelope King, widow; (x) CCA/2/3/233/1(w)'s Derby Lane property, now inhabited by the worstead weaver William Hodges; (y) CCA/2/3/233/1(x)'s entry and room, now used by the butcher Thomas Warden junior, the "Sun" being described as formerly an inn; (z) CCA/2/3/233/1(y)'s fee farm, the gentleman Henry Cave occupying Jesus Hall; (aa) CCA/2/3/233/1(z)'s vicarage house, let to the aforesaid William Spicer; (ab) CCA/2/3/233/1(aa)'s West Orchard tenement, lately inhabited by the glover Thomas Dynes, now by the shoemaker Thomas Hewitt; (ac) four Horwell closes farmed by the weaver John Gilbert; (ad) two Horwell closes lately occupied by Cleophas Ratliff senior but now by the butcher John Wallis junior; (ae) two Horwell Closes lately used by the butcher Christopher Lander, now by the tanner John Lander; (af) CCA/2/3/233/1(ad)'s Allesley farm, leased to the gentleman Francis Blythe; (ag) CCA/2/3/233/1(ae)'s Skinnards property at Bell Green, let to the baker John Nicholls in succession to the late John Green; (ah) CCA/2/3/233/1(af)'s Holbrooks estate, leased to the yeoman John Stafford; (ai) CCA/2/3/233/1(ag)'s Coundon rentcharge, the closes being occupied by Katherine Smith in succession to Robert Smith (both aforesaid); (aj) a messuage and two closes at Coundon described like CCA/2/3/233/1(ah)'s Radford ones and occupied in succession by the Smiths; (ak) Upper "Suckmore" as at CCA/2/3/233/1(ai), lately occupied by Thomas Warden senior, now by [the tailor] Christopher Davenport; (al) Stoneydelph and The Stripes as at CCA/2/3/233/1(aj), farmed by the butcher William Warden; (am) as CCA/2/3/233/1(ak)'s Barrs Hill Close and another, occupied by Penelope King in succession to Thomas King; (an) CCA/2/3/233/1(al)'s Brinklow estate, farmed by Horatio Coakley; and (ao) CCA/2/3/233/1(am)'s Keresley rentcharge, the lane being occupied by - : to be held upon trust to reconvey the whole to Jonah Crynes et al and to-be-appointed new feoffees.
