Whereby, having recited: firstly, that William Wagstaffe (of London, esq.; eldest son and heir of Thomas [I] Wagstaffe of Binley, Warwickshire, gentleman, deceased), Thomas [II] Wagstaffe (of London, clerk [in Holy Orders]) and Avery Wagstaffe (of Cambridge University, Master of Arts) - Thomas [I] Wagstaffe's younger sons - and Anne Bott (formerly married to T. [I] Wagstaffe) are T. [I] Wagstaffe's executors, so, by a bargain and sale (no date) they and Anne Bott's husband Thomas (in 1686 described as of Binley, gentleman) conveyed to Richard Harris (in 1686 of Stoke, Coventry, yeoman) two messuages on the northern side of Gosford Street beyond the gate (occupied by Thomas Burton, gentleman and Richard Stretton, tanner); secondly, that (date not given) Henry Shakespear (in 1686 of London, frameworkknitter) and his wife Elizabeth for £136/12/- sold to William Houghton (in 1686 of Coventry, cardmaker) two messuages on the eastern side of the Great Butchery (one lately inhabited by Thomas [I] Shakespear senior [butcher], deceased, the other sometime by Benjamin Mayo and Richard Bennett), a chamber over a two-part shop held by Henry Shakespear's brother Thomas [II], a high chamber above the aforesaid chamber, and the eastward part towards the churchyard of a cellar belonging to T. [II] Shakepsear's messuage which is used by the butcher Humphrey Lovett and the spinster Elizabeth Gravenor; thirdly, that for £16 on 21 Nov 1685 Roger Fisher (in 1686 of Coventry, weaver) and his sisters Mary and Joyce enfeoffed Samuel Collins (in 1686 of Coventry, clothier) with a house on the northern side of Gosford Street occupied by the feoffors; fourthly, that on 11 May 1686 for £4 Roger Fisher quitclaimed to Samuel Collins a messuage on the northern side of Gosford Street inhabited by John Salter; fifthly, that on [18] Nov 1686 for £43/10/- Edward Waldron (of Alcester, Warwickshire, blacksmith) and William Symonds (of Coventry, worstead weaver) enfeoffed William Sisserson (of Coventry, whittawer [dresser of white leather]) with a messuage and croft on the southern side of Gosford Street lately held by Francis Birch; and sixthly, that Sarah [I] Hunt (of Coventry, widow) is seised of CCA/2/3/422/9's messuages (sometime let to William Hill et al): therefore William Wagstaffe, Thomas [II] Wagstaffe, Avery Wagstaffe, Thomas Bott, H. Shakespear, R. Fisher, Edward Waldron, William Symonds and Sarah [I] Hunt covenant with Richard Harris, William Houghton, Samuel Collins and William Sisserson that the Wagstaffes, both Botts, both Shakespears, R. Fisher, E. Waldron, W. Symonds and S. [I] Hunt will levy a final concord during that Michaelmas or next Hilary term so that R. Harris might stand seised in order that the first recital's premises might enure to him, the second's to W. Houghton, the third's and fourth's to S. Collins, the fifth's to W. Sisserson and the sixth's to S. [I] Hunt.
