Whereby, having recited: firstly, CCA/2/3/422/24; secondly, payment-default; thirdly, that the principal alone is due; and fourthly, that Thomas Peake (of Coventry, yeoman) has agreed to lend Edward [I] Lea (of Coventry, tailor) £200: therefore (in consideration of £150, £50 and 5/- paid by Thomas Peake respectively to Jeremiah Lowe (of Coventry, silkman), £50 to Edward [I] Lea and 5/- to Robert Richards (of Coventry, barber and perukemaker)) E. [I] Lea and Robert Richards transfer to T. Peake CCA/2/3/422/24's messuage for redmption of £200 at £5% per annum interest on 1 Dec [1774]; E. Lea will insure within one month with the Sun Fire Office for at least £200.
