The testator nominates his wife Rebecca, nephew Thomas Rawson Vickers (of Hollyberry Hall near Coventry [, farmer]), godson John Todd Tuckley (of Coleshill, Warwickshire, ironmonger) and friend Joseph Gilman (of Middleton, Warwickshire, farmer) executors and trustees; the wife will receive horses, carriages, household goods and £3,000; the wife's brother Joseph Johnson will accept £100, John Todd Tuckley £300, Joseph Gilman £300, that man's sister Anne Gilman a like amount, and the testator's servant Edward Priest (if in his service at the time of his death) £10; realty passes to the wife for life - then, land at Allesley Street, Birmingham with 23 dwellings thereon will go to John T. Tuckley but the residue to Thomas Rawson Vickers for life with remainder to his issue; residuary personalty will be sold and the proceeds invested so as to pay the testator's late sister Sarah Todd's annuities to Thomas Balcombe and Sarah Fox, widow but residuary estate passes to Rebecca Todd for life, after which the testator's niece Audrey Elizabeth Vickers (Thomas R. Vickers' daughter) will accept £1,000, Rebecca's nephew Alfred Bannister (or his wife or children if it prove inconsistent with his personal enjoyment for him to receive it himself) a £20 annuity with remainder to his children as he might appoint or else equally between them.
