For £380, Samuel Critchlow (of Coventry, draper) conveys to William Keeling junior (of Coventry, clothier) (a) a cottage on the eastern side of Warwick Lane, divided into two dwellings ; (b) a croft outside Greyfriars' Gate, lately adjoining Pudding Croft, extending for 74 yd. along the wayside; (c) a parcel against the horsepool; and (d) Greyfriars' churchyard and barn - all occupied by Richard Tanner and Thomas Read: to Coventry corporation are reserved Greyfriars' steeple and the ground whereon it stands so that that body might either repair or demolish it, also a conduit in the churchyard where they might lay another, and access for them to repair the town wall and for Edward Rawson to repair pipes to his brewhouse, all subject to a £5 p.a. fee farm; covenants for further assurance and by William Keeling junior [sic] to produce for Samuel Critchlow three deeds (1661 - 1699).
