Harries had land at Allesley in 1817 - see PA219/20/2. PA551 shows that by 1844 Harries resided at Nice. That was by way of Benthall Hall, Shropshire, where he was in 1828 when he co-ordinated the Allesley proprietors' reaction to Reverend William Thomas Bree (q.v.)'s attempts to raise his tithe-demand (PA56/11/26,27). For the Allesley land, 1837-48 (died), see also PA2770/12/1.I-VI,2.I,III.
