Having recited the conveyance on 24 May 1890 by Joshua Perkins jun. [coachlace-manufacturer] to George Storer (in 1890 described as of Coventry, builder) of 3,080 sq. yd. including this deed's parcel, therefore, in consideration of £1,050 which will be repaid next 16 Apr at £4% p.a. interest, George Storer charges to Matthew Henry Hick Atkins (bellhanger and fitter), William Hawthorn (cordwainer), Henry Rainbow (refreshment-house keeper), William Collins (watch-manufacturer) and Samuel Green (weaver), all of Coventry, 1,130 sq. yd. fronting Catherine Street [,Hillfields] with nos. 2-9, Melrose Terrace thereon as per marginated plan [which shows that the rear land belonged to "Mr. Browett" who in fact named a road thereon Thackhall Street - cf. William Thackhall Browett; Kelly's 1896 directory shows that George Storer lived at "Melrose House", Catherine Street] with access via Nicholls Street; covenant to insure for at least £1,050. 11 July 1893. Endorsed reconveyance.
