Whereby, having recited: firstly, BA/D/A/43/11; secondly, that John Horsfall (described as in BA/D/A/43/11) by his 9 May 1796 will appointed his wife Hannah (who predeceased him), Thomas Horsfall (in 1810 of Coventry, alderman) and Edward Haycock (in 1810 of Allesley, Warwickshire, silkman) executors, the men proving it; thirdly, that by auction at William Squires' "Cranes" inn on 17 Oct [1809] John Conway (of Coventry, victualler) bought the leasehold for £37; but fourthly, that John Conway has since agreed to let Richard Rawlings (of Coventry, druggist) be the purchaser if £1/11/6 be paid to him; and fifthly, that on 30 Jan [1810] the mayor, bailiffs and commonalty, qua Sir Thomas White's Charity trustees, agreed to such an assignment: therefore (for £37 and £1/11/6 paid by Richard Rawlings respectively to Thomas Horsfall and Edward Haycock and to John Conway), T. Horsfall and E. Haycock transfer to R. Rawlings the two pieces of land (now occupied by Edward Hall, William Sanderson and - Archer) from 21 Dec [1809] for the term's residue.
