In consideration of £40 per annum rentcharge under BA/A/G/26/24, and 5/-, by Margery Hassard (of Coventry; widow of John [I] Hassard of Coventry, flaxdresser) to John [II] Hassard (of Coventry, flaxdresser; her son) of (a) BA/A/G/26/9's premises as enlarged under BA/A/G/26/20 (occupied by John [II] Hassard), (b) a messuage (sometime two) on the southern side of the Little Butchery (once held by Ralph Ashburne junior and Mary Gunnell, now by William Pepper), (c) two messuages with gardens on Bishop Street's western side (adjoining the "Bull Head" [sic] on the north, a corporation tenement on the south; occupied by Robert Saunders and William Wheeler, having been one messuage and garden inhabited by Thomas Satchwell and Thomas Lydall), (d) a messuage on the northern side of Well Street (once let to - Glasse (widow), then to William Townsend) with a barn (now used by W. Townsend), (e) Barbars Close outside Greyfriars' Gate near Pudding Croft (4.5a.; successively tenanted by Charles Buggs and J. [II] Hassard) and (f) a meadow (1a.; adjoining (e) on the west, lately cultivated by Robert Conigrave but now by Joseph Eburne).
