Having recited: firstly, PA56/15/26-27; secondly, PA56/15/28; and thirdly, that Gerrard Thomas South (of London, hosier) married Sarah Garlick (described in 1777, along with Mary Thomason and Elizabeth Bird, as three daughters of Thomas Garlick (of Stoneleigh, gentleman [yeoman]) by his wife Elizabeth (nee Farnell), both now dead): therefore the Souths revoke PA56/15/28's uses; furthermore, Edward Thomason (of Birmingham, Warwickshire, bucklemaker), his wife Mary, Elizabeth Bird (of Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, widow) and the Souths covenant to levy a final concord with Richard Thomason (of Birmingham, buttonmaker) for their respective quarter-shares in the messuage and Wheat Crofts (occupied by [the butcher] Joseph Hanson and the messuage formerly inhabited by John Ensor but now by -, described as in PA56/15/33) so as to strengthen PA56/15/28 and so that the quarter-shares should enure to the respective couples and widow as they (or a surviving spouse) might appoint and then to their heirs.
