Of:- (1) messuage and closes called Hurst Wood Field and the Stockings divided into 5 parts, 2 woods called Hurst Wood and the Three Cornered Grove, all in Meriden, in the tenure of Gilbert Docker; (2) a cottage and closes called Sparkes's Close, the Round Croft, the Long Croft, and Birchey Croft in Meriden, in the tenure of Gibert Docker; (3) 4 woods called Jennings Wood, Water Wood, Hally Hagg and Nether Richmore in Meriden, in the tenure of Francis Kimberley; (4) two thirds part of a messuage and closes called Great Meadow, the Birchfields, the Broome Close and the Little Meadow, and the woods belonging to the messuage, in Allesley, in the tenure of William Smith. The purpose of this deed is to secure the title of the property to John Meigh and his son through a legal suit leading to a deed called a 'Common Recovery'
