1840-1928. See PA308/1 for this watchmaker in 1875. He was a member of the Horological Committee of the Technical Institute. He was described as "junior" in 1859 when a member of the Coventry Theatre Lessee Company (see PA124/1). PA244/90 and PA244/92/14,15 relate to his death on 14 Apr 1928. Fridlander bought 132, Spon Street from the watch-case maker Richard Yardley (q.v.) in 1886, but selling it four years later to the baker Thomas Aston only resulted in his becomng the new owner's mortgagee, an interest which he retained until the property was sold on after Aston's financial embarrassment in 1903 (see CCA/2/3/500/26-33 passim).
