Reg No VC 440. A green, 4 seat open top racing car used in the 1928 Le Mans 24 Hour Race. Driven by Kenneth Peacock (later Sir Kenneth Peacock, head of the GKN group of companies). His co-driver was Sammy Newsome, who had a car retail outlet in Coventry and was the driving force behind the building of the Coventry Hippodrome in the 1930s. The car won the GP D'Endurance at Le Mans being the only 1.5 litre car to finish.
