On the city council, 1839-42, 1848-60. Plasterer, Cow Lane (1830). He did work for Bond's Hospital (1836 - PA54/115/13) and Ford's Hospital (1822 - PA54/323/1) feoffees. Webb developed Cow Lane and Greyfriars' Lane property, 1830-60 including the "Bablake Boy" (PA56/65/1-8 (will)) and had more in Butts, Hertford Terrace, Albion Place, Union Street and Whitefriars' Lane (PA56/65/9). Webb worked also at Drapers' Hall, 1820-35 (PA468/4/3/28/57; PA468/4/3/30/53; PA468/4/3/33/53; PA468/4/3/35/57; PA468/4/3/44/70; PA468/5/5/24). The ribbon-manufacturer William Dowling (q.v.) sold Webb part of Barber's Close - see PA491/83/30(b); PA491/84/14. Involved in Town Court litigation, 1835 - see BA/E/K/110/872.
