Here we have highlighted some of the key collections we hold.
 This
archive was purchased by Coventry Archives with assistance from the
Heritage Lottery Fund. It contains material collected by Mr Virk and
includes photographs, recordings, printed material, books, magazines
and documents. Much of this material was used by Mr Virk when researching
his book Asian Life in Britain. Material in this collection relates
to his work as a printer, and his involvement with various organisations
including the Indian Workers' Association, the Communist Party of Great
Britain, Indian Youth Association, the Progressive Writers Association
and many others. Although the catalogue records are only in English,
much of the material is in Punjabi.
